Reign Lyu

Reign is currently 10 years old and resides in Kailua, Hawai‘i. He is in the fourth grade.

His musical interest developed thorugh his ‘ohana. His Tutu and Aunty dance the hula and his dad plays the ‘ukulele. He was inspired by his aunt (Makamae Lyu-Napoleon) when she started taking steel guitar lessons from Kumu Alan Akaka.

He first performed at the Hawaiian Steel Guitar Festival Keiki Kine at Kāhala Mall in August, 2022.

In his spare time he enjoys spending time with his ‘ohana, his ‘ukulele and on his iPad.
